The Virginia Department of Health, Division of Community Nutrition, celebrated CACFP Week with an urban gardening effort organized by Bee Thorp, Brandon Archer and Troyana Cheatham in Richmond, Virginia.

Here in NYC, LKD Nutrition & Health Support Services had a great time last week with Week 3 of National Nutrition Month, as the theme of Learn Skills to Create Tasty Meals coincided beautifully with National CACFP Week.

We discussed with our children how healthy and unhealthy foods make our bodies feel.

I am a proud child care provider ensuring healthy eating habits are encouraged with our children.

I love being in the CACFP. It has benefited my childcare for many reasons.

Cherokee Elementary School’s Afterschool Meal program offers enrichment activities like robotics, tutoring, and art
