I am a proud child care provider ensuring healthy eating habits are encouraged with our children. We provide a warm cooked meal and healthy snacks at least three times each day. We serve fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat and 1% milk or water at all times.
During these challenging times of the Pandemic we were still able to continue feeding our children. We enjoy watching and modeling the children eating strawberries, spinach and corn on the cob. This kind of support was only made possible because of our membership with the Child and Adult Care Food Program and the New York State Department of Health. We also offers a Breast Feeding Friendly environment for our families in need of this service.
It's an honor to serve in my profession. Our children's future is very important. Healthy eating habits reduces the risk of early childhood obesity and keeps them away from frequent visits to their Pediatrician, while their parents keeps their employment. Families are encouraged to practice these healthy eating habits at home.
