CACFP Advocates for and Secures COVID-19 Emergency Relief Funding
NCA advocated for and secured COVID-19 Emergency Relief Funds for CACFP during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The effort was a result of 4 advocacy campaigns conducted over many months in 2020. Those campaigns resulted in the CACFP community sending over 150,000 letters to congressional and USDA representatives. In addition, NCA led an effort along with FRAC, CACFP Forum and CCFP Rountable to survey the community and assess the Impact of COVID-19 on CACFP sponsors and providers. The Impact of COVID-19 on CACFP Report served to substantiate the need for financial relief. We are grateful to all of our members and advocates for their efforts.
