Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas*
- 1 clove of garlic
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
* As a best practice, choose ingredients that are whole grain, low-fat or low in sodium when possible.
Directions
- Drain and rinse chickpeas.
- Combine chickpeas with garlic and lemon juice in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Try pairing this dip with pita chips or vegetable sticks as a complete snack.
