Ingredients
- 1.1 lb of walleye filletsÂ
- 1 tsp tarragon or parsley, choppedÂ
- 2 tbsp butterÂ
Directions
- Season walleye on the flesh side with salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle herbs and press lightly into the flesh to help it stick.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Place the fillets seasoned side down in the pan, tilting the pan to make sure the butter surrounds the fillets, cook for about 3 minutes.
- Flip the fillets, gently, and cook on other side for about 2 minutes.
- Walleye fillets should reach a final internal cook temperature of 145°F as measured with a food thermometer before serving.
- Split into 8 equal portions to serve.
