NCNC27 Registration Is Open: Fresh Ideas, Shared Purpose
October 15, 2026
Registration is officially open for the 2027 National Child Nutrition Conference (NCNC27), happening March 29–April 2, 2027, in Chicago. Attendees can now take advantage of the lowest registration rate through December 1, 2026.
This year’s theme, Fresh Ideas, Shared Purpose, celebrates what brings the child nutrition community together: a shared commitment to serving our communities, and helping children and adults thrive.
Every day, Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) professionals find new ways to serve their communities, solve challenges and make a difference. NCNC27 is an opportunity to exchange experiences, explore new approaches and return home with practical tools and inspiration you can put to work.
Fresh Ideas for the Work You Do Every Day
The child nutrition landscape continues to change, and staying informed matters. NCNC27 will bring together more than 200 experts for training and conversations covering the topics that matter most to CACFP and SFSP professionals.
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your program knowledge, explore new approaches or dive deeper into the issues affecting child nutrition, you’ll find opportunities to learn from experts and peers.
With 150+ workshop hours and 36+ CEUs, there are plenty of ways to build your knowledge and choose sessions that fit your goals.

A Shared Purpose That Brings Us Together
At the heart of NCNC is the work we all share: helping children and adults in care settings access nutritious meals while building stronger programs and communities.
That shared purpose makes NCNC more than a conference. It’s a place to connect with people who understand your work, exchange experiences and learn from colleagues across the country.
As one attendee shared, “The conference is an amazing networking tool. It’s so nice to have one place to go and get the knowledge to help in your job.”
From the sessions you attend to the conversations you have between them, NCNC27 offers opportunities to strengthen your professional connections, discover new approaches and bring valuable takeaways back to your community.
We can’t wait to see you in Chicago and share what’s ahead for NCNC27.
