Attendee Policies

The National CACFP Sponsors Association is committed to creating a safe and productive conference experience for all attendees. Attendees are considered to be registered attendees, exhibitors, presenters, and NCA board members and staff.

NCA will follow the guidance of the local, state and CDC organizations regarding COVID-19. We reserve the right to implement or change our policies and requirements based on that guidance. Attendees are expected to adhere to this guidance.

NCA’s goal is to provide a positive environment built on trust, respect, open communication, and ethical behavior. To ensure this environment for our conference, we ask that all attendees agree to the following Code of Conduct.

During all conference and conference-related activities, we ask that all attendees:

  • Wear the nametag that has been provided to them at check-in. As a reminder, this is your “ticket” to access all sessions and should not be shared with others.
  • Show consideration and respect in their speech and actions and in their personal, professional, and business conduct toward others.
  • Show courtesy and respect for individuals’ personal boundaries.
  • Practice behavior that is free from:
  • Demeaning, discriminatory, insulting, or harassing language or actions, or language or actions that enforce dominance, in person or online.
  • Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to unwelcome sexual advances, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and other verbal or physical harassment.
  • Content recording or streaming without permission; and
  • Disruption of sessions or events.

NCA does not discriminate on the basis of race; color; national origin; sex, gender identity or expression; affectional or sexual orientation; veteran status; disability; marital status; personal appearance; family responsibilities; genetic information; educational status; political affiliation; place of residence or business; source of income; caste; matriculation; credit information; status as a survivor or family member of a survivor of domestic violence, a sexual offense, or stalking; reproductive health decision making; or any other basis protected by law in any of its policies, programs, publications, and services. NCA prohibits discrimination and harassment at any time, including during its events or within publications and online learning communities.

NCA reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting, virtually or in person, without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior, and NCA reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future meeting, virtually or in person.

If you experience or witness discrimination or harassment at an NCA event or occurring while you or others have acted in an NCA-related capacity, please report the incident to a member of the NCA team. Reports can be made via email to nca@cacfp.org.
