2025 Presenter Reach

Benefits of Presenting at NCNC

  • Presenting at #NCNC26 provides an opportunity to build your network and create connections within the child nutrition community.
  • Sharing your strategies, tools, and ideas with attendees helps make the food program easier to operate.
  • Presenting is a fulfilling professional development experience. It challenges you to polish your communication and presentation skills, improve your ability to articulate ideas, and boost your confidence in public speaking.
  • Being a presenter enhances your visibility within the child nutrition community and spotlights your subject matter expertise, which builds your reputation and credibility.

Conference Registration

Conference registration is a requirement for presenting at the National Child Nutrition Conference. If a presentation is approved and the presenter(s) has registered by October 3, 2025, it will be listed in the digital conference promotional brochure and fully featured on the conference website.

Hotel/Travel

Presentations are considered professional contributions to the child nutrition community, therefore, NCA does not pay an honorarium for speakers or any related travel expenses including conference registration, airfare, hotel, or meals.  We have secured a discounted group rate at the host hotel, Westgate Las Vegas, and the link will be sent to the email provided once registered.

Audio-Visual

Presenters will be offered standard audio-visual support which will include a podium, microphone, projector, and screen. Your NCA-approved presentation will be preloaded on a laptop in your assigned meeting room. No changes or updates are able to be made to your presentation after the March 6, 2026, deadline.

Wireless internet will be available to all presenters and attendees. Please have a contingency plan in place if there is an unexpected technology issue. We require presenters to embed any links or videos into their presentation.

PowerPoint

All presenters will be given a PowerPoint template to use for the presentation. The title slide, presenter slide, attendee library slide, and evaluation slide are required for your presentation. The inside pages are recommended. The presentation slides will be made available to attendees as a PDF in the attendee library.

PowerPoint Best Practices

  • Keep text on page simple and short
  • Include clear, high-quality images appropriately
  • Proofread and spellcheck your presentation
  • Avoid product logos and branding; No organizational logos other than on presenter slide
  • Embed any videos in your presentation

Handouts

Presenters are asked to submit an electronic copy of their handouts in PDF form by March 6, 2026, for publishing in the attendee library. Presenters are responsible for printing and providing an adequate number of handouts if they would like to provide physical copies to attendees.

Yapp App

We encourage all presenters to add themselves as an attendee in the Yapp App with their contact information. By doing so, conference attendees can easily reach out to you with questions about your presentation.
