Workshops – One-hour sessions about nutrition, program admin/operations, financial management, Head Start, Summer Food, Afterschool Meals, train the trainer and more. Multiple presenters are allowed and PowerPoints/handouts are required.

Shop Talks – Unscripted, dynamic, and real, these are thirty-minute sessions that focus on specific topics like enrolling providers, fundraising, policy, handling conflict, parent engagement, and mobile meals. PowerPoints are not required and there is only one facilitator per session.

Training Academy – Four hour deep-dive sessions that allow attendees to understand the nitty gritty. Sessions take place pre and post conference with a limited group of registrants. Multiple presenters are recommended and PowerPoints/handouts are required.

NCA has limited spots for virtual presentations. We are unable to accommodate all virtual presentation requests. If you’d like to present virtually at one of our events throughout the year, please email conference@cacfp.org.

The NCA Conference Committee will review all submissions. Applicants who meet the August 15^th, 2022 deadline will be notified of the status of their proposal by September 15^th, 2022.

Presenters who wish to attend the conference sessions and networking opportunities will need to register for the conference with the posted registration fees at the time of registration. Registration opens on November 1, 2022 with the Advance Registration rate available until November 30, 2022.

If you do not register for the conference then you will not be able to attend sessions, networking events or visit the exhibit hall.

All presenters are responsible for making and paying for their own hotel and travel expenses. The link for the discounted block of rooms will be emailed to the email provided once registered.

Presenters will be offered standard audio-visual support, which will include Wi-Fi, podium, microphone, projector, screen, and power cord. We do not provide computers for presenters. If the presenter’s laptop requires a specific cord, then they are responsible for providing their own adapter.

Presenters will be notified early February of their presentation date and time.

A link will be sent to you to submit final PowerPoints and handouts by March 15, 2023.

Attendees do not sign up for sessions in advance. We will share an estimated number of attendees early 2023 based on attendee surveys, so prepare to be flexible! Meeting rooms will be set theater style and attendance may range from 25 to 400, depending on topic interest.

Yes! Feedback will be collected from attendees for each session and will be shared with you in the weeks following the conference.
